A note to the writer

You don’t need
to have it all figured out.
You need a place
to begin.

Maybe the idea is there, but the structure isn’t. Maybe the draft is complete and you are too close to see what a reader needs.

Les Clés offers a considered next step: an editorial scope built around your project, its readers and the kind of help you are ready for.

Before you ask

A few useful answers.

Should I send my manuscript in the form?

Please do not paste or attach a full manuscript. Start with the type of project, approximate word count and the help you are looking for. We will arrange a suitable way to share an agreed sample.

Will you rewrite my voice?

The aim is to make the intended meaning easier to follow. We agree on the level of intervention and use an initial sample where appropriate.

Is this a publisher or literary agency?

No. This website offers editorial inquiries. Publishing, representation and sales outcomes are not promised.
